He advanced his medical training with specialized residencies in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology at UC Davis Medical Center and Harlem Hospital (affiliated with Columbia University), followed by a competitive two-year fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, part of Harvard Medical School. There, he developed deep expertise in cutting-edge, image-guided treatments for vascular and chronic conditions.

He is board-certified in obesity medicine and incorporates a holistic approach that blends minimally invasive procedures with personalized lifestyle and metabolic health strategies—empowering patients not just to heal, but to thrive long-term.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Kashefi enjoys spending time with his family, exploring nature, swimming, and playing tennis. He strongly believes in the power of movement, mindfulness, and balance as key pillars of lifelong health.
