Dr Ahmed M. Fadl attended Johns Hopkins University where he did a combined undergraduate and graduate degree in Biophysics. He then did laboratory and clinical work at the Sloan Kettering Institute and Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute focusing on benchtop imaging protocols before pursuing additional graduate work in applied anatomy at the Case Western Reserve University.
He returned to his native New York to attend medical school at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. In medical school, he did a year of clinical research fellowship at NYU in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery division.
Dr Fadl did his surgical internship at Stony Brook followed by Diagnostic Radiology residency at NYU Langone Hospital- Long Island (formerly Winthrop University Hospital). During his residency he received the RSNA Roentgen Ray resident/fellow research award and SIR resident in training scholarship. He was also the chief resident his senior year.
He completed his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. He is board certified in diagnostic and interventional radiology. He has authored numerous publications and presented at national meetings.
Dr Fadl came to Pittsburgh after finishing his training to join his wife who is a medical oncologist. He joined Foundation Radiology Group becoming the medical director of imaging at Jefferson Hospital. He most recently was associated with Allegheny Health Network as part of the faculty of Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
His expertise lies in peripheral arterial disease treatments, chronic limb ischemia treatments, dialysis management with focus in percutaneous AV fistula creations, interventional oncology, and women’s health interventions specifically uterine fibroid embolization.
As the medical director of The Painless Center, with locations in Carlstadt and Tenafly, New Jersey, Chi-Shin Jason Chiu, MD, strives to stay current on the latest advancements in interventional pain management and anesthesia. Dr. Chiu later completed an internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens and went on to finish his anesthesiology residency at Rutgers University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Soto is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vascular and interventional radiologist. He has performed thousands of innovative, minimally invasive image-guided treatments for a wide variety of complex conditions.. He specializes in lower extremity revascularization, embolization for prostatic enlargement and uterine fibroids, and minimally invasive musculoskeletal pain treatments.
After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, he completed his medical degree at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed his Radiology residency at Temple University Medical Center in Philadelphia and then his Interventional Radiology fellowship at Stanford University.
Since then, he has worked in a variety of hospital and outpatient-based settings for more than 15 years in Northern and Central California and on the East Coast. In particular, he has been focused on delivering quality, safe, and state-of-the-art office-based treatments since 2016 and has served as medical director of successful practices in New Jersey and San Joaquin County.
When Dr. Soto founded PVI in 2022 it was with the goal of providing exceptional ambulatory interventional care in underserved areas in the East Bay. The primary Hayward location was established in early 2024.
He is active staff at Washington and St. Rose Hospitals and Seton Medical Center. Dr. Soto is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, and of the Outpatient Endovascular and Interventional Society.

Dr. Zagum Bhatti is a highly skilled vascular interventional radiologist with extensive experience in advanced endovascular therapies. Bashar Nahab, MD, is trained in interventional radiology and has a focus on hepatobiliary diseases, interventional oncology and image-guided urological interventions. Dr. Nahab chose those areas because of the deep desire to change the course of the diseases through implementing innovative treatment modalities to help our patients.
Dr. Nahab served as chief resident during his residency in radiology. He completed his Master of Science in medical research while training and defended and published his thesis on cryoablations for adrenal tumors, focusing on minimally invasive treatment modalities for metastatic tumors.

Dr. Morar is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist trained at the Cleveland Clinic. He has been in clinical practice since 2005 and has performed over 30,000 Interventional radiology procedures. He has a special interest in embolization procedures which require closing down blood vessels from the inside using x-ray guidance.
